Ross Gerhold is a dedicated freelance Cinematographer and Photographer based in Richmond, VA. Throughout his career, he has tackled a diverse range of projects, from commercial shoots and documentary work to marketing material and music videos.
Gerhold’s fine art photography explores anxiety, disassociation, and the seemingly staged environments of our world. Gerhold examines today’s societal decay in tandem with the terrestrial beauty of the American South, but truly wherever he catches glimpses of personal and emotionally nostalgic scenes in the everyday world.
